The Library wants students to design our Official 2023 Bookmark

Designs should be emailed to library@eastdonsc.vic.edu.au by 4pm on 2 November. Students can enter more than once.

The winning design will be selected by popular vote, professionally printed, and provided free to students in the Library throughout 2023. The winner will also receive a $20 prize voucher.

Students can create a handmade or digital design. Designs must:

  • Be sized 206mm x 56mm
  • The background should go right to the edges. Any text or important graphics need 3mm of ‘bleed’ space at the edge (they should fit inside the size 200mm x 50mm)
  • Digital designs should be 300dpi. Students can use these digital templates for guidance (scroll down to 'Bookmarks' and select templates from the first row)
  • Handmade designs can be photographed or scanned and emailed - and if they win, we will organise a high-quality scan of the artwork for printing
  • Designs must be one sided only. Students may sign their name on the design if they like
  • Designs must include ‘EDSC Reads 2023’ somewhere

Holiday eBook Reading

Students can access the Library anytime these school holidays, with eBooks and audiobooks available to borrow online.

EDSC’s large and varied eBook and audiobook collection can be borrowed through the Sora app or from our library website.

Sora can be customised to improve accessibility, especially helpful for students with dyslexia or reading difficulties.

Students can also link their Sora app to public libraries, instantly increasing the range of eBooks and audiobooks they can read.

Instructions for using Sora can be downloaded at this link.

ClickView videos, including films and TV shows, can be streamed from our library website throughout the holidays.
