Year 12 HSC Trial Exams

Best wishes to Year 12 as they prepare for their Trial HSC online Assessments which begin on Monday 23rd August (Week 7).

Please click on this linkHEREand read the important information about the HSC Trial Assessments/ Exams Schedule, and student requirements to assist with supporting your child throughout this period. It is expected that all Year 12 students will return to regular classes on Tuesday 7th September (Week 9).

As lockdown restrictions will be revised closer to 28th August, we will continue to provide updates following advice from NSW Government and CSNSW regarding the return to school and the possibility of the resumption of remaining Trial HSC Exams in the College Hall.

All students will be required to meet via Zoom with their teachers, 15 minutes prior to each scheduled Trial HSC online assessment (Zoom links are provided above, on the HSC Trial Schedule link). This will be another opportunity to gain clarity of task requirements and any additional support students may require.

These assessments, either in online format or examination, are important in giving students a measure of where their learning is now. The NSW Education Standards Authority NESA have ensured that there is no disadvantage for students whose exams could not take place. Final assessment ranks are always based on the accumulation of all Assessment data collected throughout the entire HSC course.

Year 11 End of Preliminary Exams

Please be advised that at this stage Year 11 End of Preliminary Exams are scheduled to take place this Term in Week 9 and 10. This will of course be determined by the advice given from the NSW Government and CSNSW, regarding the easing of lockdown restrictions and returning to school. We will be communicating all updates regularly to students and families.
