National Science Week 2021

National Science week 2021 was celebrated at Edenhope College with different activities. The theme this year was Food: Different by Design. 

 

Year 7 students made a National Science Week banner with the pulses and wheat grain which they displayed in the science classroom. 

Year 7 students also welcomed two calves to the College Farm. A big thank you to Mr and Mrs Cambell for your kind donation. Students attentively listened to Mr Cambell who spoke to them about calf rearing. 

Science Detective Elective

Students in the Science Detective Elective celebrated National Science Week with the detection of hydrogen balloon explosion.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

STEAM at School

It is great news for the community that Edenhope College received a $5090 grant from Business Australia for STEAM: Lego Robot project. Our students are getting ready to build the robots, with the aid of technology their job will be made easy. Year 5-7 students are very excited to build their Lego robot and program it. Thanks to Business Australia for supporting us.

 

Foundation - Year 2 Students telling the time

Foundation - Year 2 students built a clock and learnt how to read the clock. They took the challenge to set a time on their clock.

Boat Making

In STEAM, Year 3-4 students have shown their skills in making a boat that can float in the shallow water. They have tested their project in the school grounds.
