Career and course exploration resources

Students can search over 400 different occupations narrowed down by the field or type of work they would like to do in the future. They can also research ‘career ladders’ and take an aptitude test, www.goodcareersguide.com.au/
Course Seeker
Students can explore university courses for each state in the one website and can research courses, prerequisites, selection criteria and ATAR profiles for the 2022 intake, www.courseseeker.edu.au/
SkillsRoad
This website is excellent for students who are considering a vocational pathway after school – this may include TAFE, apprenticeships or traineeships, www.skillsroad.com.au
Work Experience
Year 10 students will be on Work Experience during the last week of term, 13th to 17th of September. Most students have secured places and have taken forms to their respective employers. A reminder to all that Work Experience is primarily for observation of how a workplace operates and at no time should any student be operating machinery or being in a position where they may be harmed. It is quite different to Work Placement which is done in conjunction with VET courses.
Subject Selection
Year 10 and 11 students are working through Subject selections for their VCE studies. Parents are encouraged to call the School with any questions or to make an interview time.
