Dear Families,

As I am writing this newsletter, we are again in lockdown for another 7 days. I sent home an Operoo note yesterday for families to fill out for Friday (tomorrow) and next week. Can you please fill this in as it helps us with onsite supervision.

We as a community are doing an amazing job with supporting each other and touching base to make sure we are okay.  I love that children are catching up at “the Peanut Park” in order to get to play with each other! It’s nice to see out my window, children and their parents walking and running by.  It is so nice to receive little snacks from families  for the teachers -  “synonym donuts” for example arrived on Tuesday.  Thanks Patrick.

Mr Cochrane had a birthday  yesterday and Beau left a “gift" of coffee and cake and Xavier left him some hot jam donuts. Thanks Beau (and Seona) and Xavier (and Felicity). You made Mr Cochrane's day.

At this stage we have to postpone (not cancel)

  • F-4 disco
  • Parent Social night
  • Sprint and hurdle trials
  • Confirmation

We are now going to camp at Merricks Lodge on Wednesday 1st - Friday 3rd September. On the Wednesday (1st of September) we will have our F-4 picnic that was planned for Monday this week.

Get your Dancing Shoes On

We have organised some fun for our students next week.  On Wednesday between 2:00pm and 3:00pm Bop to you Drop will be hosting a virtual Disco for our Foundation to Year 2 Students.  On Thursday between 12:00pm and 1:00pm it will be the Year 3 to Year 6's turn.  It will be an hour of fun, games and there will an opportunity to request your favourite song.  For those onsite learners you can come to school in casual clothes on the day of your Year Levels Disco. You will receive an invitation with a Zoom link shortly.  We look forward to an hour of fun and laughter.  Mums and Dads are welcome to join in too!
