We keep Willow Betts and her family in our thoughts and prayers after the recent sad loss of her grandmother. 

New England Sings! Postponed Until 2022

Due to the unfolding health situation in NSW, the New England Sings! Event for 2021 has sadly been postponed until 2022. Whilst not surprising, it is still disappointing this amazing choral event will not happen this year.

To all the wonderful students from our school who committed to being involved and have been consistently coming to practices since early this year, thank you for your energy and willingness to engage in the fantastic music written especially for this event. I hope you continue to enjoy these songs for a long time to come and that you have an opportunity to perform in the not too distant future. You are all stars!

UNKNOWN FEE PAYERS

I have received a payment online last month without any details of who made it, therefore being unable to credit the fee account. It is a significant amount, so if you made a payment late last month and think this may be yours please contact the office.

There was also a smaller amount that was paid on two different occasions  early in the month of August . Please contact the school if you think these payments could be yours. 

2ND HAND UNIFORMS

At the moment the school does not have any second hand uniforms. St Vinnies in Bourke Street are now stocking our uniforms and have a large amount of summer stock available. 

 Please ring the store on 67321362 for opening hours during lockdown.

The school does sell new, school hats for $15.00 each, school swimming bags, library bags for $10.00 and pencil cases for $8.00 each. Contact the school if you would like to purchase any of these items.

SCHOOL ZONES

A reminder to all our parents ahead of the break at the end of Term 3 that school zones remain in place for the safety of our children and families. 

School zones operate on all gazetted schools days, which are all days the school is open, even pupil free days. 

School zones for our school will end at 4pm on Friday 17th September and resume on Monday 4th October at 8am.

UNIFORMS

The change of school uniform from summer to winter or winter to summer is not always associated with the school term. Our uniform policy states that there will be a two week phase in period called by the school. We do this to cater for the change in seasons. During this time students are ask to be in full uniform either summer or winter, not a mixture of both. Students are able to wear either summer or winter uniform depending on the weather, until MONDAY 18th October when all students will be required to wear full summer uniform. If you have any difficulties with your child wearing the uniform please contact the office as soon as possible to discuss the matter further.

UP TO DATE CONTACT INFORMATION

It is very important that the school has up to date contact information for each child. If we do not have the correct information at the school it is difficult for us to contact you if need be. If your details change during the year please contact the school as soon as possible.

Woollen School Jumpers

We have a small quantity of new red woollen jumpers available to purchase.  They are old stock, but are still in excellent condition.  The quality is exceptional because they are Australian made in Hobart.  They wash and wear beautifully and are very warm.
