Welcome Back!!!

Dear Families

What an exciting day we had on Tuesday welcoming back our Prep - 2 students!  It was fabulous to see them return to the classrooms and greet their teachers and friends after several weeks apart!  They managed walking into the grounds and into their classrooms remarkably well. It was lovely also to be able to wave and shout out our welcome greetings to our parents albeit from a distance.

Our focus for our Year P-2 is to get back to our classroom routines with a strong emphasis upon learning!  Our students are already immersed in Literacy and Maths lessons  together with our specialist classes.

Be assured we have a strong focus on hygiene and students are well aware of the importance of regularly washing and sanitising  hands.

If your child is unwell in anyway, they must stay at home.  Please inform us of their absence as per normal

If students from P-2 borrowed an IPad and charger from school these should now have been returned.  If you still have one at home please ask your child to give it to the class teacher tomorrow.

Our Year 3-6 students continue to access remote learning from home with a few students working at school. If you can work from home then you must work from home. Once again thank you for your continued support of your children. It is important that students upload work. Most students have been remarkable in their daily efforts to stay focused  upon their learning throughout the lockdown period.  I can not thank you and the staff enough for your remarkable efforts to support home learning.

Should you have any issues please do not hesitate to contact your class teacher, leadership  or the school office.

A reminder that we will be having a staggered start to the school day and a staggered end to the day:

This Sunday within the Catholic Tradition we celebrate the Feast of Pentecost! An important Feast where we reminded to invite the Holy Spirit into our lives. May the spirit help us all to be compassionate in these challenging times.
