Year 3 to Year 6 Return to School

We can't wait to welcome back our Year 3 to Year 6 Students on Tuesday.  Please see the attached letter sent to all families today regarding new school protocols for the Return to School.

Congratulations Amelia W (5/6WR)

We’re really excited to share that Amelia is one of the winners of the HUMIFORM x National Tree Day t-shirt design competition!  Her design was the winning entry for the primary school section.

At the end of Term 1 and during the holidays, students in the school’s gardening club were asked to think about what trees meant to them and create a slogan and picture to represent this.

Here is Amelia’s creation.

Planet Ark and Humiform were amazed by the number of votes and the standard of entries they received so everyone who entered should be incredibly proud of their efforts.

T-shirts featuring Amelia’s design will be available for pre-order for a limited time on the website for the month of June. HUMIFORM website

$1 from the sale of each t-shirt will go towards Planet Ark’s Seedling Bank. The remaining profit will go towards HUMIFORM's educational programs and events that empower young people to become active citizens and change makers. The creators are so grateful for the incredible creativity and passion. Art can change the world and they are excited to see the impact that these designs have.

Well done, Amelia and everyone who entered the competition. Keep sharing the message:

Trees provide the very necessities of life itself. They give us oxygen, store carbon, provide us with materials and support wildlife.

Feast of the Sacred Heart

We will be celebrating the Feast of the Sacred Heart, Friday 19th June with a recorded video. To show the heart of Jesus through our own actions, this Mass has also been known as the Poor Man's Mass and each year we support St Vincent De Paul Society with a food drive. St Vincent De Paul Society assists the vulnerable and needy in our community.  See Flyer below to read more about the work of St Vincent De Paul Society and the items they are most in need of. Starting Tuesday 9th June there will be collection tubs at each gate which we ask you to place items in.

Before and After School Care

Team Kids again has Before and After School Care fully operational and available to all.  Please go online and make bookings as required by your family.

Winter Uniform

Just a reminder that as of Tuesday students are required to attend in their winter uniform. Specialist timetable remains the same as last term for the remaining weeks of this term.

Our enrolments for families in 2021 are open.
