Dear parents and students.  

I wish to thank you all for your kind words and well wishes for my secondment to St Thomas The Apostle. As I look forward to a new challenge I am really sad to be leaving the wonderful community here at St Laurence's. Knowing all the children by name (although sometimes I mix up siblings). I have been so proud to have the opportunity to lead this school over the past five years and share with you all the adventures of changing buildings, playgrounds and academic expectations. Thank you for being a wonderful community and allowing me to learn the role of principal here.

St Laurence's is a community which is committed to educating children. Our focus is on excellence, both in learning and social experiences, forming children into exceptional citizens. The partnerships between parents and school and between staff and students are critical. The voice of the child needs to be heard and they are to be encouraged at all times to strive for their best, to enjoy the messy experiences of learning and feel the bright light of success. I wish everyone at St Laurence the very best for the rest of the year.
