Home Learning Term Three

Students in all classes have been creating artworks using recycled everyday items that are found around the house.

We have focused on creating 3 Dimensional sculptural forms, looking at the works of MC Escher to inspire our creations.

Students used their imaginations to create ‘Impossible Worlds’.

Escher’s Impossible Stairs

They explored different paper sculpture techniques such as folding, cutting, tabs, fans, arches, and columns all made from recycled paper and  cardboard to make their architectural masterpieces.

Students in years 3 to 6 were asked to make a poster displaying these different paper construction techniques.

Students in year Foundation to 2 started their paper exploration with some fantastic results.

Here are some amazing examples that students have begun working on.
