Dr Seuss Read and Rap

Recently our year 12 students competed in the Dr Seuss Rap. In their House groups they performed a Rap version of a classic Dr Seuss book. We saw One Fish doing battle with Green Eggs and Horton's who. Each Year 12 House group filmed a member of their group rapping a page of the selected book to music of their choice.

We saw some amazing costumes matched with creative dance moves to produce some truly outstanding results.

Jones and Jenkins dove straight into the competition. Orange and white wigs seemed to be everywhere with Jenkin commandeering Londonderry Oval for their stage and Jones taking over Mr Knowles office. Aherne were slow to get moving and initially seemed not so wrapt to be rapping. However they too soon joined in with some noise and moves of their own. Millward took over the Lecture Theatre, while Riley and Frew chose to work in secret. Although we could hear that Frew had a Wocket in their pocket.

The film that has come in for judging shows we have some exceptional film makers and performers at the school. We look forward to presenting the films to the school at an assembly soon.
