Welcome Back Lunch

To celebrate the return of Year 11 and Year 12 students to school, on Monday 25th May a special lunch was held for students and staff in the Performing Arts courtyard. 

The importance of social re-connection is paramount for young people, and the extended lunch provided students with a suitably buoyant atmosphere in which to rekindle friendships. 

Students enjoyed pizza and music in the beautiful Autumn sunshine and diligently applied sanitiser, which is already becoming an automated habit for students. 

It was wonderful to see the four-square courts alive again with raucous but friendly competition, and it was a much-deserved and appropriately celebratory atmosphere to mark the return to face-to-face teaching.
