Red Shield Appeal: Digital Doorknock

Since 1993, Girton students have proudly worn their school uniforms on a Sunday morning and participated in the annual Red Shield Appeal.

Around 250 students and 50 parents each year take to the streets of Bendigo, Castlemaine and beyond to serve others.

As one of Girton’s longest-standing Community Service initiatives, we will again be supporting the Red Shield Appeal and this year, the event is a "Digital Doorknock".

Money that is raised will help to provide services in the Bendigo region, such as the provision of drug and alcohol abuse programs, support for domestic violence and family breakdown assistance.
