A 'back to school' message from our school captains

Beaumaris Birds

A message from the Junior School Council........

As some of you might know, there is something called a Bear Hunt going around in Bayside right now. It is where people put pictures of bears or tie actual teddy bears in their windows or on their fences. Kids go around trying to find them. JSC were inspired by this and have come up with a similar idea.

Our idea is that we can do a similar hunt specifically for children at Beaumaris Primary School. If you find yourself with spare time on your hands we would love you to draw our school logo, which is a seagull, and stick it on your window or fence.

Your challenge over the weekend, or during next week (maybe while you are walking to school) is to count how many seagulls you can find! Some classes might even like to keep a tally of how many seagulls the students have found and create a little competition about the Beaumaris Birds BPS seagull hunt.

We have a confirmed date of Tuesday 6 October for our rescheduled student school photos.

On-line Magic show

A message from one of our Year 4 students:

"I love magic and I made a website for it.  I realised that I could raise money by holding an online magic show.  All money will go to 3rd Beaumaris Scouts and Cubs. The date of my show is Sunday 7 June 2020 at 2:30pm.

Here is my website:https://5eb36cdfae5c2.site123.me

Thank you"

Sandringham College

Sandringham College hosted a "Virtual Open Night" last Thursday night for parents interested in enrolment in 2021. We recorded the event so parents who were unable to attend or wanted to revisit could view it online.

It is available on our facebook page and we would be grateful if you would share it with your parent community as many parents have been disappointed that they cannot attend an Open Night or tour at the College due to COVID-19.
