Starting school is a big change for children. Often the hardest part is being away from the family and joining a group of other children. Anything you can do now to help will make school a happier place for your child. 

MARAMBA’S FOOTSTEPS INTO FOUNDATION TRANSITION PROGRAM

At Maramba, we understand the importance of ensuring your child has built strong connections to the school and feel safe, secure and confident about starting school for the first time. To achieve this, we provide an amazing and comprehensive transition program called FOOTSTEPS INTO FOUNDATION that is made up of seven sessions across Term 3 and Term 4 of 2022. 

FOOTSTEPS  INTO  FOUNDATION  is a  fun and  engaging discovery  learning  program, which  allows pre-school  aged children  to  come to  school  and participate  in  a variety  of  play-based activities. This  allows  your child  to  experience school  in  a real  and  engaging way  that  feels fun  and  safe; allowing  your child's  transition  to school  to  be smooth  and enjoyable.

The first three sessions in Term 3 of 2022 are our FOOTSTEPS DISCOVERY sessions which are designed to introduce the children and families to our school environment and to get to know us and discover our unique qualities. The main focus here is building connections, relationships and familiarity while having fun.
