The Wellbeing of Everyone, Everywhere is Important

Playground

Our ongoing environmental focus on repurposing resources to enhance our playground has produced another item to enhance this space. The Foundation students have taken on the responsibility of taking out and collecting a variety of items to play in this new space too. Well done!

Digital

At St Brigid’s we seek to inform and encourage families to participate in activities that may support their child’s wellbeing and safety.

This week students in Years 3-6 will watch and discuss this new video. It has a focus on positive online behaviours and is part of a new partnership between the  eSafety Commissioner & the AFL.  A key message being how we can help stamp out online abusive behaviour on and off the field.

For families with younger students you may wish to look at creating a tech agreement to help build healthy online habits together.

Parenting

Anglicare reminds us that “Parenting is the toughest and most importance job you will ever have” They have provided ParentZone Pods that  identify and explore common issues and offer strategies to try in these situations. Parentzone Wellbeing Podcasts
