College Captains' Report

The school year is coming to a close, with all our 2021 subjects wrapped up and the BE Program giving us an insight into our 2022 subjects.

It has been an exciting period for all with the Year 7s making their first subject choices in the form of a language for next year. Our 2021 Year 8 have had their first opportunity to select specialisms for next year as well as our Year 9 who not only get to choose their specialisms again but have a chance to take units 1 and 2 of a VCE subject. Our Year 10 particularly have an exciting next year being the school’s first year 11 cohort to start choosing their future VCE pathways.

During the past week, and moving forward this week, the whole school has been participating in our BE Program which has given us all amazing context and understanding of our studies and classes for 2022.

This all comes at the conclusion of the school year with only a couple weeks to go, including our micro-credentials week which allows students to learn, grow and develop new skills such as pottery, screen printing and CPR and first aid training.

We wish as always, you’re all doing well and staying safe.

We also hope you enjoy the end of the year and the holidays to come.
