Days for Girls

Girls worldwide suffer indignities, infection, even exploitation trying to stay in school; being denied access to basic sustainable and affordable sanitary options prevents them from gaining an education to provide a better life for themselves and their families. Days for Girls International  is addressing this problem, creating a more dignified, free and educated world through access to lasting feminine hygiene solutions. They sew and distribute sanitary kits, providing them free to underprivileged girls in developing countries. 

To support this cause, we hosted a bake sale on Monday 31 August, full of home-made biscuits, slices, honey joys and more. We had an incredibly successful afternoon, gaining support from students and teachers alike, allowing us to encourage the continuation of this program. Thank you to everyone who purchased from us, your contribution will make a difference to a girl’s present and future.
