From the Principal

Dr. Andrew Cousins

As we come to the end of an extraordinary year, it provides a wonderful opportunity to consider the many things we can be grateful for as a member of the Clayfield family.  We are so fortunate to be a member of the Clayfield community. We have so much to be grateful for every day as we work together educating the change-makers of tomorrow.

Some have suggested that as we head into the festive season, it provides a wonderful chance to think deeply, lift our spirits and be thankful. The benefits of taking time to be grateful have been well documented. We are so incredibly blessed at Clayfield to have a team of dedicated, professional and thoughtful staff who support, extend, nurture and genuinely care about ensuring that every student is known, valued and understood.

As the year comes to an end, we bid farewell to a number of colleagues. We are sad that they are leaving us, grateful that they have been part of our community and hopeful that the future will bring them success and happiness. I am sure you will join me in wishing them well as they seize the opportunity for a promotional role, move closer to loved ones, or undertake the next stage of their lives.  We thank Leeta Austin, Nicole Blood, Craig Johnston, Ben Selleck, Mandy Sidhu, Adrian Walker, Kathryn Yarrow, Remy Di-Clemente, Melanie Johnston, Jason McKavanagh, Rebecca Tsoumbaras and Zachary Wankmuller for all that they have done to enable the students of Clayfield College to flourish.

On behalf of all the staff at the College, we thank you for a wonderful year and look forward to 2022 and sharing with you in what is shaping up to be another wonderful year at Clayfield. I wish each of you a happy and holy Christmas.
