Studio Lighting

During the return to semester students have been introduced to studio conditions and lighting for the first time. Lessons of flat lay have encouraged the preparation of props and lighting direction to be considered.

At the early stages students will benefit from gaining experience by exploring photographic equipment such as lights, stands, backgrounds and reflectors. It will take time for them to feel a sense of familiarity and confidence.

Evelyn Martchenko and Annika Lalev have worked on a conceptual piece together furthering their skills in studio consisting of self portrait and flat lay.

The video shown above showcases a behind the scenes video of Evelyn and Annika working on their project.
