Library Books

All library books need to be returned to the Library as soon as possible as overdue notices will be sent home this week for any books borrowed and not returned.

The Noarlunga and Woodcroft Libraries are open during the holidays for students to borrow books and continue with their reading.

Fundraising News

Thank you to the parents/carers, students and staff who purchased gifts at the Christmas Stall. 

Thank you for the donations to the Christmas raffle and the parents/carers and community who bought tickets.  Congratulations to the winners.

A total of $4260.00 was raised from the Christmas Stall, Christmas Raffle and School Concert evening.

Thank you to the school community for supporting our fundraising events during 2021. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Dress Code Shop

The Dress Code shop will be open on Thursday 27/1 and Friday 28/1 between 10:00-11:30am for parents/carers to purchase dress code items before the start of the school year.  The Dress Code shop is located at the end of Penney Unit, behind the Conference Room.

 HEPS - OSHC Vacation Care

Hackham East Primary School OSHC is open from 13/12to17/12/2021 and 3/1to 28/1/2022. All Vacation Care fees have CCS approval, (before subsidy) Inhouse $60.00, Incursion $68.00 and Excursion $75.00. Children are provided with sunscreen, hat and afternoon tea.  Additionally, please ensure that you read what is required to be sent with your child/children on each particular day.  Please also note that on excursion days the children will need to be at the service by the time stated on the program, we will unfortunately be unable to wait for anyone who has not arrived on time. Our hours of operation are 7:00am to 6:00pm, children must be collected on time.

Lost Property

Please check lost property boxes located in all the teaching units (Castle, Holly & Stillwell) for any items that may belong to your child.  They are overflowing with jumpers, jackets and other items.

It is recommended that any item your child brings to school is clearly labelled with your child's name so that it can be returned if found.  

Emergency Dress Code Clothing

If your child has been provided with emergency dress code clothing items during this term please wash and return the clothing to the Front Office staff.  All items need to be returned by Friday 10/12 to ensure there are sufficient items available for students requiring emergency clothing.

If you have any items of dress code clothing that would be suitable for students please consider donating the items.  Donations of dress code items can be left with staff in the Front Office.

School Watch

Can neighbours and community members please watch the school carefully for any sign of trespassers, vandals or anyone acting suspiciously in or around the school grounds over the holiday period.  Please call Police Patrols on 131444.

Learn A Language in 2022

R-6 programs offered in 16 languages for students from all school sectors: Afrikaans, Arabic, Auslan, Chinese, French, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Nepali, Punjabi, Spanish, Thai & Vietnamese.  The School of Languages is a government school established 36 years ago.  We offer 23 languages after school hours, in 30 different locations around the metropolitan area, to over 2000 students from all schooling sectors. Our programs complement and supplement languages 

Children & Family Counselling

Strengthen your relationship, address challenging behaviours and improve family connections. Children and Family Counselling supports the mental health of infants, children and their families.  Suitable for families with infants and children up to 12 years old.  This service will provide counselling and mental health support for your children and you. Other family members can be involved if needed.

Saying Goodbye to School Banking

The CommBank School Banking program will not be returning to schools in 2022.

You can continue to make deposits into your child's Youthsaver account through online transfers or at any CommBank branch.  For more information Ph 132221 or visit your local CommBank branch.
