Fortunately, some Year 10C students were able to undertake their arranged work experience placement this week.   For those who could not attend due to COVID restrictions, we will continue to work with them to reschedule as soon as is practicalable. 

Reports from the students we have visited have been very positive and as always we are extremely grateful that employers have been willing to offer so many opportunities to our students.

Year 9 and 10 2022 Elective Subjects

Over the next two weeks, we will be speaking with every Year 8 and Year 9 student regarding how their subject choices work with the 2022 Blocking Sheet. 

Year 12 Tertiary Scholarship

The Tresco & Chisel United Lodge are offering four Tertiary Education Scholarships worth $5,000 to local students intending to study at University in 2022.  Applications close on Friday, January 7th, 2022.  More information is available from the Pathways Office or the Year 12 Study Centre.

CASPer Test for Teaching Courses

Year 12 students are aware that one of the Education course prerequisites is to sit the CASPer Test and they need to complete this test to be eligible for Round 1 offers.  The next two dates are Sunday, November 14th and Sunday, December 7th.   For more information or to book a place, go to https://takealtus.com/casper
