Myrniong - ELC to Yr 6

Code Red Days and the Myrniong Campus

The Department of Energy and Training has informed the Myrniong Campus that we have been categorised as a Category 4 Site (considered to be at some risk of bushfire/grassfire). This means the Junior School and co-located Early Learning Centre will be required to close on Code Red days. Schools and early childhood services are categorised based on their risk of bushfire and grassfire in line with the Victorian School Bushfire Risk Methodology. The Department reviews all schools and services according to this methodology annually. Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) analysis has informed this classification, and takes into account the Bushfire Management Overlay, Victorian Fire Risk Register, terrain and fuel-type exposure. On Code Red days, we will sms all families to inform you.

Junior School Speech Day

Junior School Speech Day is now confirmed for Monday 6 December at 12.30 pm. We will keep you informed of density limits and visitor regulations as we get closer to the event.  We hope that we can invite parents to attend this important end-of year occasion.
