CAFE

Remote learning has given us the opportunity to continue to see the incredible talents within our students that we would normally see whist at school, as well as some talents that we wouldn’t normally get to see. With this in mind, we would like to celebrate the talents of the following students.

Nelson A 9B.

Nelson is famous for his unique ability to draw and has created the new cafe logo and name for our Hands On Learning Program, now known as HOL Grab and Go. We now proudly sport the logo design on our new cafe t-shirts when we are at school, and it has made a significant difference to the professional look of the cafe.

We would also like to thank our amazing arts teacher, Mr Ben Fenech, who assisted us in preparing the logo for the printers to use. We greatly appreciated your assistance, Ben.

Lochlan D 8A

Lochlan was recently invited to demonstrate his incredible ability to decorate cakes in one of our recent Zoom meetings. Brookside College staff were extended an invitation to join this demonstration along with our HOL students and it was wonderful to see so many join us and marvel at Lochlan’s creation. We look forward to seeing future creations from you Lochlan. 

Using Teams, we are staying connected with our students and sharing our cooking adventures with each other.
