Year 7 Japanese students were asked this week to make a jumping animal out of origami, as part of their Pets topic.

Year Eight History

Last week students in Year 8 were working on a CHOICE BOARD activity for their studies of Medieval Europe. This allowed them to select some activities that they were interested in learning about (including Crime and Punishment, Witchcraft and the Black Death) and present their research in different ways. Below are some creative responses from 8 Jones, 8 Frew and 8 Aherne.

Year Ten Japanese

The Year 10 Japanese class have completed some delicious Japanese cooking at home. They made Chocolate Mochi, which is a sweet made of rice flour.

Some students filled theirs with ice-cream, chocolate cream or just enjoyed them as they were.
