U8 GS Magic

The GS Magic went down to Wildcats Monday afternoon with the final score 2-20.  The Magic had a bit of slow start.  Shaurya came off the interchange and had an immediate impact with his skills with the ball, stealing and rebounding.  Tyler also performed some great steals, Raewyn had some scoring opportunities and Layla had an excellent game displaying her dribbling skills and scoring a great basket.  It was great to see the Magic not give up and fight all the way to the end.

Scorer: Layla (2 pts)

U9 GS Champs

First game of the Summer season was played very well by the team against Cedar Stars. We are a new team with some girls new to netball. All girls worked very hard and showed great promise.

Goals: Champs 2 (Jessica) - Cedar 8

U11 GS Lightning Bolts

Coming up against an undefeated team in the grand final meant we were the underdogs. Our team put in an amazing effort, establishing a good lead going into the last quarter. Unfortunately, we were out played in the final moments and ended up going down by two goals. Final score 14 to 16. It was an absolute pleasure to coach the Under 11 Lightning Bolts. I’m super proud of all the team and when I reflect on this season, I believe we had a successful season: we grew in our teamwork, we grew in our positive attitudes, and we grew in our skills and performance. Well done!!!

Grand Final goals: Acacia 10, Mikayla 4
