Sound Waves Spelling - Getting Started 

This week students from Year 1- 6 began the Sound Waves spelling program. This first unit is called "Getting Started" and introduces students to the terms Phonemes (sounds) and Graphemes (letters that represent the sounds)

For the remainder of this term grades 1-6 will focus on the follow sounds 

We are looking forward to introducing these units and further exploring the resources that the Sound Waves program provides to our students and teachers.
