Year 12 Study Tips

Following on from our Year 12 Study Skills sessions, in each newsletter we will include five tips to help achieve success in the final year.
Study Skills Tip #1
Find a quiet, comfortable place to study. The Resource Centre is a great place to study before and after school. It is open from 8am-5pm every Monday to Friday.
Study Skills Tip #2
Get a good night’s sleep – at least eight hours. Your brain processes and stores information overnight and needs adequate sleep to help this process.
Study Skills Tip #3
What’s your daily average screen time? What are your top five apps used? Could you use your time more productively?
Study Skills Tip #4
How many hours are you working at your part-time job? If the answer is more than 10 to 15 hours, are you leaving yourself enough time for study?
Study Skills Tip #5
Ask for help. If you are looking for ways to excel in your subjects, ask the experts in the room – your teachers!
