Performing Arts Update

In another busy fortnight, we have enjoyed the Year 9 and 10 Music and Drama evening, Year 7/8 Extension Music Recital and Junior School Performing Arts Showcase. 

Firstly, I would like to thank all of the staff and students involved in the Junior School Performing Arts Showcase on Tuesday 13 June. It was a fantastic evening, with many memorable performances from across the Junior School. It was a representation of the depth of performing arts ability across the Junior School.

Congratulations to the Year 9 Drama and Music students, as well as Ms Holden and Ms McLeod for the fantastic performances at the Year 9 Music and Drama evening. 

Winter Solstice Performances

Coming up on Friday 16 June several of our ensembles will be performing in the Rotunda for the Winter Solstice. Students involved are asked to arrive at 5:30pm, in full winter uniform, plus scarves and gloves!

Performance times are as follows: 

6pm Sheltones 

6.20pm Clarinet Ensemble 

6.40pm Junior Chamber Strings 

7pm Flute Ensemble House Performing Arts

Mamma Mia – Senior School Musical 

The senior school musical is in early Term 3, performances are 7.30pm Thursday 27 July, 7.30pm Friday 28 July and 5pm Saturday 29 July. Tickets will be on sale shortly.  

Chinese Instrument Program 

Thank you for those that have returned forms to take up a Chinese instrument. Please note lessons will be commencing in Term 3.
