The end of Term 2 brings a close to the majority of the Sports Carnivals for 2023.

This year we had 9 students represent Evans HS at the Blacktown Zone Swimming Carnival. Kiana F (Yr7) won all 4 of her events and progressed to the Sydney West Swimming Carnival.

The Blacktown Zone Cross Country Carnival was attended by more than 40 Evans HS students with 8 students finishing in the Top 8 places in order to progress to the Sydney West Cross Country Carnival. Ali Reza U (Yr 7) was our highest-placed competitor finishing in 11th place out of 70 runners.

Evans HS also had 44 competitors at the Blacktown Zone Athletics Carnival with 8 students qualifying for the Sydney West Athletics Carnival. Gabriella C (Yr 7) finished 3rd overall in the 200m and 5th overall in the 100m events.
