Principal's Page

Dear Parents and Carers

This week we farewell Mr Philip Moore. We thank Mr Moore for all that he brought to our school community these last six months and wish him the very best during his trip overseas and the next step in his career in Catholic Education. Our staff and students acknowledged his wonderful work during yesterday's morning assembly.

Mrs Charadia returns to St Joseph's at the start of Term 3. I look forward to leading the school with the support of Mrs Grose (Acting Assistant Principal), our wonderful leadership team and staff for the remainder of the term.

Assemblies Wks 9 & 10

Due to our School Athletics Carnival taking place on Friday 23 June, our whole school assembly for Wk 9 will be held on Thursday 22 June at 2pm. Our Wk 10 Assembly will be a celebration of what has been achieved this term and will commence at 1:45pm. During this assembly we will present our end of term awards, acknowledge our athletics carnival age champions and we will also view a slideshow presentation.

Semester 1 Reports

Semester 1 student reports for Years 1 to Year 6 will be available via the Compass Portal from 3:30 pm on Monday 19 June (Week 9).

Class teachers nominate students for Blue Merit Awards and are presented at the weekly assembly.  When five Blue Merit Awards have been received, students send them to the school office to be recorded and are then eligible for a Principal’s Award. When students attain their 4th Principal Award, they are awarded a Principal’s Medallion at an assembly. End of Term awards can be included as part of the 5 awards.
