Auslan on the Go

We are excited with the implementation of Auslan as the LOTE subject for the Prep to Year 3 students here at NMPS.

Over the last few weeks, our students have learned basic greetings and have begun learning the finger-spelled alphabet. Starting with vowels and double handed letter signs, our student cohort have begun to focus on the particular handshapes used within Auslan. Each class returns, revising their signs proudly and ready to learn the next.

Their embracement of Auslan fuels us to deliver engaging lessons, developing skills that our students can carry with them for life! Happy Signing!
