Kingston Division Cross Country Championships

On Thursday June 6th, our top performers from Seaside District House Cross Country Carnival competed at the 2019 Kingston Division Cross Country Championship at Cornish College.

It was a great day of competition with the students running against the top performers in the 32 surrounding schools. Despite being up against some very strong runners, some spectacular performances were achieved;

10yr Girls

Grace P - 2nd place

Mia G - 3rd place

Roeline H - 8th place

Ruby W - 3rd place

We would like to say a huge Congratulations to all the runners who competed on the day! And we wish all the best to the students who finished in the top 10 in their races, as they now go on to  compete at next level on Thursday 20th of June in Hastings.

Running Club

Running sessions  will continue to take place each Wednesday & Friday,

It is suggested that due to Year 5/6 interschool sport, the Friday sessions cater to Year 3/4 students.

Venue:  School Oval

Time:    Wednesday & Friday mornings - 8.25am                      for an 8.30am start

Bring:   A water bottle, running shoes and any                          necessary medication (e.g. asthma                                inhalers)
