Assistance for  BRPS Parents returning to the workforce:

There are many parents in our Black Rock community who press pause on their careers to raise their children and be the primary carer. Returning back to your career can be a slow and frustrating journey, often with unpaid work been de-valued and a CV gap feeling like you are 100 steps behind. As part of supporting our community there is a FREE workshop being run at the Beaumaris Community Centre that has been developed to provide  practical advice and tools to assist in returning and building networks. If you are interested in understanding how to translate your skills and experience into today’s business language, building plans to manage the home front for when you return, coming up to speed with recruitment models and unapologetically owning your story then we invite you to register. If you are unavailable we will be running more, so please send an email to michelle@zipwire.co to register your interest.

New Basketball and  netball rings installed.

All of our budding basketball and netball players  will be pleased to see the installation of  new basketball and netball rings on the asphalt area. They look fabulous and are being very well used by the students. Happy shooting!
