Applications to sit the Year 10 and 11 entrance examination close on Friday, 31 May. If you know an academically gifted student currently in Year 9 or 10 who deserves to embrace what makes them different, make sure they've applied by clicking here.
Queen's Birthday
Public Holiday
| Monday, 10 June
The Queen's Birthday public holiday will be on Monday, 10 June. As this is a public holiday, no students are required to attend school on this day.
GAT Day (No Classes)
| Wednesday, 12 June
The 2019 GAT will be held for all VCE students on Wednesday, 12 June. No other regular classes will be held for all Suzanne Cory students in Years 9 and 10 on this day.
Winter Concert
| Monday, 17 June
The annual Winter Concert will be held on the evening of Monday, 17 June. All parents, students, and members of the Suzanne Cory community are warmly invited to attend this fantastic showcase of student music, featuring all large and small ensembles, as well as vocal performances from the school's various choirs. Event details will be released closer to the day, so please save the date!
Last Day of Term 2
| Friday, 28 June
The last day of Term 2 will be Friday, June 28th. Term 3 will commence on Tuesday, July 16th. We wish everyone a restful holiday!
Student Opportunities
Cinderella Poster Competition
Calling all students who wish to practise their graphic design skills! The 2019 school musical is ‘Cinderella’, and your design could be used to promote it! The best posters will be displayed around the outside of the auditorium and the winner will receive 2 tickets to the show. Submissions are to be given to Ms Kinnane by Monday, 27 May. Film Competitions
Budding filmmakers of all skill levels are invited to participate in some great upcoming competitions, many with excellent prizes up for grabs! Check out the posters or see Ms. Hall for more info.
