Athletics Carnival
Excitement and anticipation are building for our upcoming School Athletics Carnival. Our Junior Carnival (Prep-Year 2) will be on Thursday 15 July and our Senior Carnival (Year 3-Year 6) will be on Friday 16 July.
Students wanting to run in the 800m (10yr-12yr) or 400m (8yr-9yr) event will come down during the Junior Carnival to run as a showcase for the junior grades. Shotput trials are well underway for our senior students as this is the only event not done on the day.
This carnival is used as a selection for our school to participate at the Oceanic Carnival in week 6. Any student aged 10-12yr that comes first in an event will automatically qualify for the school, the second place student will need to meet qualifying times, heights or distances.
Please keep a look out on Class Dojo for the program. We are very excited to have parents and carers at this event.
Sporting Achievements
Good luck to Oliver who will be representing South Coast at the Queensland Rugby League Titles over the break. We wish him all the best.
Free Afternoon sport
Thank you to all the students and families that joined in our free afternoon sport this term. We will be starting up again next term with Thursday afternoon baseball starting in week 4.
Auskick
Auskick will be kicking off next term on Wednesday afternoons, starting on 28 July in week 3 and running for 6 weeks from 3:10pm-4:20pm. Information about this will be coming out next term.
Have a great holiday.
