Parent/Carer Wellbeing During Remote Learning

Victorian Principals' Day

Friday 6th August was Victorian Principals' Day. Whilst Noel doesn't like the spotlight to be on him (unless it's a dress up day!), we couldn't let the day pass without recognition. Our staff put together some kind words for Noel and shared these during a Staff Meeting. Families who follow our Facebook page were able to pass on a message to Noel. He has seen all the messages and expressed his gratitude. It is clear how much everyone in the community values Noel for his character and work. Happy Principals' Day, Noel!

SMPS in the News

During quarantine, we were contacted by a journalist from the Southbank News wanting to write an article about the school's experience. He interviewed one of our Learning Specialists, but little did we know he was also interviewing a parent at the school. We were so happy to read about the experiences from a parent perspective. Dental Visits - Postponed

Please note that due to Covid-19 restrictions and lockdown, Star Health have needed to postpone the Dental visits scheduled this term. Once we return on-site, we will negotiate new dates with Star Health to bring this service to our students. Thank you for you understanding.
