Myanmar – Last session

During this session, we learned about traditional Myanmar musical instruments and arts. The students had beautiful puppets to play with and admire. The boys made the traditional Burmese headdress and the girls strung beads to make a long necklace which would normally be worn with traditional garments. Some children managed to complete both tasks and went away very happy.

We would like to thank New Mon Htoo, May Khalar Aung, May Aung Htut, Aye Nu Zan, Su Nandar Moe, and Grandma Htut for making each session very special. The students collectively called these wonderful Burrendah Mums, their Myanmar Aunties. Thank you Myanmar Aunties. We learned a lot about Myanmar during our Culture Club Sessions.

Culture Club Taiwan starts next Friday, August 6.
