Wellbeing

We are delighted to welcome Art Therapist, Melissa Nelson to the staff team at Holy Family. Along with Dominique Furet, our school counsellor, we have appointed Melissa to work with individual and small groups of students in the sphere of wellbeing.

Melissa is passionate about helping every child become the best version of themselves through creative expression and play.

Melissa utilises a wide range of creative tools to support a child’s social and emotional development, with the aim to enhance their learning experience at school.

Melissa runs small-group Creative Coaching Sessions & Peer Support Sessions designed to encourage positive social skills particular to each child. The focus of these sessions will also include making healthy choices, building self-confidence, and resilience, as well as learning new skills in mindfulness that will support our general well-being.

If you have any questions about either Melissa or Dominique, and how they can support your child's wellbeing please contact me.
