Secondary News

Mr. Richard Hardy - Dean of Academic Administration

Students are getting back into their established routines as we approach the end of Week 2. The week commenced with Years 8 to 10 engaged in Subject Selection Presentations. This should promote some thoughtful discussions at home as students start to plan their pathways to the senior aspect of their education. Please remember that the girls need to submit their signed preference forms to their Head of Year by Monday 26 July.

Yesterday the girls participated in a very competitive Inter-house Athletics day at the University of Queensland Sports Athletics Centre. The girls showed great spirit participating in a wide variety of athletic events, which culminated with some very close and exciting relay events. The last updated scores were very close and we look forward to seeing who will claim the shield.

Tomorrow, the girls and staff will trade their usual uniform attire for Pyjama’s as we celebrate Pyjama day for The Pyjama Foundation to assist them in raising awareness and funds for children in foster care.
