Welcome back to Term 4! It is a very busy time of the year, so please keep up to date with all events and due dates.

International School Library Celebration

On Tuesday 23 October, Fairview will celebrate International School Library Month.  The aim of this special day is to celebrate school Libraries and Librarians around the world, and to highlight their importance in the education of children. Established by the International Association of School Librarianship, this celebration has been running since 2007.

If your child does not wear a Book Character costume, they must wear their school uniform. This is not a casual dress up day.

Thank you for your assistance in making your child’s day special and memorable.  All parents are welcome to attend the parade on Tuesday 23 October at 2.10pm in the Chapel and Performing Arts Centre. We welcome younger siblings and parents who would also like to dress up.

Wellbeing Week

The first week of Term 4 had a strong focus of Wellbeing. Coinciding with World Mental Health Day on Wednesday 10 October. Please take note of the flyer titled '10 Ways To Help Your Child Look After Their Mental Health' to aid their wellbeing.

Many activities were run across the College to highlight the many ways we can assist both our mental and physical health and look after each other. The Fairview focus included the Wellbeing Picnic, with our favourite teddy bears and our special visitors who attended and spent time in our classrooms.
