HOLIDAY BORROWING

Borrowing for the holidays has started. Books borrowed before the end of this year will be due back at the start of next year. This is a great opportunity for students to catch up with their reading. Please talk to your son or daughter about what they have been reading and encourage them to come and borrow for the holidays. The library catalogue is online and can be browsed on the internet via the school homepage. If a book is currently on loan, it can be reserved. When the book is returned you will receive an email. Please note that to borrow over the holidays students will need to have returned all overdue books.

OVERDUE AND LOST BOOKS

If you have an overdue book you will probably have received emails from the library. Please look 

carefully for the book, including in your locker, school bag and bedroom. If you cannot find the book you will have to pay a replacement cost. To do this come into the library to get a book cost sheet printed off. Take this sheet along with your payment to the School Bursar. After payment is made, bring the sheet and the payment receipt to the library to have lost book taken off your borrowing record. If you find the book bring it to the library to arrange a refund of your payment.

LIBRARY HOURS FOR TERM 4

Please note that the library will be closing at recess and 4:30pm daily until the end of the year.

BOOK CLUB

Book club members had the chance to browse through a selection of new titles from Benn’s bookshop on Monday 23 November. 

Many titles were chosen for the library collection. Book club members will be notified by email when the book they selected will be ready for collection.
