Visit from French sister school 

Visit from our Sister-School, Lycée Baudimont February 2020

In the early hours of the morning we flew the Koonung flag at Tullamarine, eagerly awaiting our visitors from our sister-school Lycée Baudimont. Our students and their families were all excited, with text messages even flying between our parents and the parents in Arras. After weeks of communicating online, students had no trouble recognising each other, and the French students set off happily for their two weeks with their Australian Families.

Highlights of the stay were a visit from the French Consul, a trip to Healesville Sanctuary, a cultural heritage walk in the Botanic Gardens, and of course the beach!

Many thanks for the warmth and generosity shown by our students and their families during the visit. It was great to see our wonderful school community in action. As well as the experience of the French culture and language, friendships have been made that will continue through the years.
