Welcome

Hello everyone

A special welcome to all our new families.  Our PFA  is a very active and vibrant part of the Koonung community.  It provides a great way to familiarise yourself with your child's school and meet other families. 

The PFA meet twice a term  in the Middle Years Centre and are actively involved in a number of events throughout the year.  Our first meeting, the AGM, was held on Monday  3 February  where elections for our new 2020 committee was held. We are still seeking a Vice-President. If you are interested please contact PFA President, Andrew Gifford. We welcome everyone to get involved in our wonderful community.    

Mother's Day Breakfast 

This is one of the most popular PFA  events of the year.  The event will be held in the Senior Centre  on Friday May 8  from 7.30am - 8.30am.

There will be door prizes, delicious food and reflections from our college captains.  It’s a great way for each student and their mum to start the day, it is an event not to be missed.

Seeking volunteers to co-ordinate our Second hand uniform shop  

Our lovely parents who run the Second hand uniform shop  are seeking two volunteers to take on the coordination of the shop in 2021. The second hand uniform shop opens every Thursday afternoon until 3:45pm. The existing coordinators are keen to provide training for this role during the second semester. If you are interested please contact the College. 

Second hand books 

Our College is very fortunate to have an annual second hand book sale coordinated by the PFA at the end of each year. The  coordinators for 2020 are Dominique Gifford and Fiona McLean and can be contacted via  email,   booksale@koonung.vic.edu.au
