Compass Parent Portal

In preparation for the opening of our Compass Parent Portal we will be holding a  parent information session tonight. The session will commence at 5:30pm and will run for approximately 20 minutes. It will be held in the Year 6 classroom with entry via Dangar Street which will allow a quick exit.

At the end of last year St Mary’scommenced using a new student information system called Compass. It is a web-based program that will eventually be rolled out in all Primary and Secondary schools across the Armidale Diocese by the end of 2020.  

This Thursday we will be opening the Parent Portal and sending home letters and login details tomorrow. Not every area of Compass is currently set up and operating. Compass modules will be progressively opened throughout this year. 

Parents will initially be able to view their child’s attendance and provide reasons why their child is absent or late to school. When Compass is fully operational parents and guardians will be able to use the Parent Portal to:

• Book your Parent/Student/Teacher conferences

View up-to-date class and school attendance information

Approve past absences for your child

Enter upcoming absences for your child

Access your child's Student Semester Reports

Download, print and approve upcoming excursions

Update your registered email and mobile number (used for SMS alerts)

Access information regarding upcoming events and news.
