The Arrowsmith Program

Term Three has once again been another busy and productive term. With continued assessments for new enrolments, training and masteries, the different mainstream Junior and Middle school activities including camps and the end of the school year looming, every moment in the program becomes more important. Because of the intensity of the Arrowsmith Program exercises in the classroom, we look for activities that offer relief from this intensity and allow students to integrate with their peers in ways that bring out their creativity and provide opportunities for their self-expression. This term Ms Papadakis’ class chose to have a Crazy Pet competition. Students were invited to submit a picture of their pet revealing its unconventional behaviour. Below are some entries and the prize winner, Rylee Bower. Well done to Rylee and all participants.

We were also treated to a visit from Gabriel O’Connor’s two pet dogs. The joy and sense of well-being that our furry friends provide were all too evident during this fun-filled visit. Here are some pictures from our fury friends’ visit.
