School Council Meeting Report – June 2021

We held our June SC meeting via Zoom last night.  Although we did have some motions to move within the Finance area, and a detailed Principal's Report containing many highlights/updates from the past month to review, we also had an opportunity to share feedback on the recent remote learning period and how everyone was impacted by the extreme weather of last week.  The displays of community spirit were and still are quite evident after the storm and there was so much gratitude expressed considering the damage could have been a lot worse for many of us.  The general consensus was that both teaching staff and parents were very happy that our School is open again for onsite learning and that the majority of our school community have had their mains power restored.

THANK YOU TO ALL CHPS STAFF!

  • Thank you to the Principal team, all teaching staff, ES staff, and the OSHC team for rapidly adapting to the 4th period of lockdown in Victoria.  We understand that it is challenging time for the entire community and your efforts with remote learning and the timely and frequent communications are continually appreciated.
  • Enjoy being back on site this fortnight and have a well-deserved break during the upcoming school holidays!
