Well done in Remote Learning!

A massive congratulations needs to be said for all of our students and families, who navigated their way through another remote learning period so well. It has been a pleasure to see all the work being submitted on Compass, particularly the tasks that have been completed with siblings and family members. We will be sure to share some of this fantastic work in future newsletters. Once again, the resilience, positivity and work ethic demonstrated has shone out across all three classrooms. Well done to each and every one of you!

Return to Onsite Learning

Woo hoo! With the announcement coming through today that we are back to onsite learning, we can look forward to getting back to face to face teaching and reconnecting with everyone. It will also be wonderful to return to some more familiar routines and learning experiences.

As more information comes to hand in the coming days, we will keep you all informed as to the possible changes to upcoming events and excursions. Please make sure to have a good read of each section of this week’s newsletter to stay fully informed of any possible changes and restrictions.

Please remember to bring your iPads, chargers, remote learning books and potato olympians (SC2) back to school.

Cross Campus afternoons

Mrs Anderson and Mrs Eddy have been busy planning our cross campus afternoons for Term 3. In particular, they have spent a lot of time planning our Tuesday afternoons, which this term will have a Social Justice (Community) theme. Having a whole campus focus on ethical capabilities and values will be really beneficial towards all aspects of students’ learning both in the classroom and out in the yard. Some of the experiences planned include working with Nazareth house to make cards, tree planting with local groups, and volunteering with the soup bus, op shops and hearing about the CFA. We are really excited for these afternoons to now get underway.

We can’t wait to see you all again back at school!
