Old Boy Se-Bom Lee - Off to Tokyo

It is with great pleasure that we as a College publicly recognise and congratulate Old Boy Se-Bom Lee (Class of 2018), who recently competed at the Australian Swimming Championships in Adelaide. Se-Bom swam under the Olympic qualification standard and as a result, has secured his ticket to the Tokyo Olympic Games, achieving a time of 04:14.16 in the Men’s 400m Individual Medley. This Silver Medal performance is a significant improvement from his preliminary swim of 04:22.79, as well as his time recorded from the last Australian Championships, where he swam a 04:22.11 to finish in fourth place. On behalf of the College, we wish Se-Bom the very best of luck as he joins the Australian Olympic Team, proudly wearing the ‘Green and Gold’.

Forward Planning - Rugby in Orange               Saturday 31 July

The Rugby fraternity will travel over the mountains to play Kinross Wolaroi School on Saturday 31 July. A bus will be organised and a letter/permission note will be forwarded to all Rugby players by the middle of Week 1, Term 3 regarding transport. At this point in time, the teams that will not be travelling to Orange/Bathurst will be the 5th XV, 15C, 14C, 13C and 13D teams.

It is the College’s expectation that all Rugby players will travel to Orange/Bathurst to play in their respective fixtures if chosen. Any parent seeking leave for their son from attending these fixtures are to forward a request addressed to Mr Fochesato and myself at your earliest convenience.

Holiday Break

Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable break. May I remind you all that training will resume on Tuesday 13 July for Rugby, Football and Tennis. All families are advised to check Team App during the break for any sport updates or changes for the beginning of Term 3. Good luck to those teams training and playing fixtures throughout the holidays.
