Congratulations to our students who competed at the Northern Division Cross Country. It was a great afternoon of running at Hastings Foreshore. It was terrific to see our students running their best and challenging themselves. Well Done to:
Congratulations to our 3 students who have qualified for the Regional Cross Country on Wednesday 14th June, 2023.
Good luck to these boys on Wednesday.
Last Thursday our year 5 and 6 students had a huge day of sport, participating in the Winter Lightning Premiership. Our soccer and AFL team played at Ballam Park and our netballers played at Jubilee Park. Each team played between 5 and 11 games. Our students showed great resilience and stamina. Our girls netball team had a very successful day, winning all 11 of their games. They will now have the opportunity to compete in the division netball competition.
On Wednesday the 7th of June, the St Brendan's football team went to Ballam Park to compete in the Lightening Premiership League. We played 7 games against schools like St Augustine's , Frankston Heights, St John's, Ballam Park and Bayside to name a few. We won 2 out of 7, and tied one match. Mr Dent was our coach and he gave us lots of tips like "when you get the ball, boot it". We had lots of fun playing in the rain and mud. We came 5th out of 8 teams, just missing out on the finals by a few points. By Evie Jonker
